Meredith Mayo creci\u00f3 en un hogar bicultural con una fuerte influencia mexicana y siempre ha sentido pasi\u00f3n por la cultura vibrante y apasionada que representa Latinoam\u00e9rica. Desde su juventud, ha sabido que quiere hablar espa\u00f1ol y trabajar junto a la poblaci\u00f3n latina de alguna manera.<\/span><\/p>\n

Meredith obtuvo su M\u00e1ster en Trabajo Social en la Universidad de Alabama con el deseo de implementar el cambio a nivel macro a trav\u00e9s de la pol\u00edtica y la defensa. Sus puntos de pasi\u00f3n espec\u00edficos son la migraci\u00f3n forzada y los trabajadores agr\u00edcolas migrantes, y cree en el poder del cambio narrativo que puede ayudar en el cambio personal y de los sistemas.<\/span>

\n<\/span>Meredith ha trabajado en la producci\u00f3n de eventos, en campa\u00f1as, con organizaciones sin \u00e1nimo de lucro y en diversas funciones de control de calidad. Aporta su experiencia en estrategia, marketing y metodolog\u00eda basada en fortalezas al equipo de desarrollo de Abara.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Aunque es tejana de nacimiento, Meredith vive actualmente con su marido, Scott, y su beb\u00e9, Ethan, en Columbia, SC.
