Abara House at the Historic Hacienda
A Taste of the Possibilities
About The Luncheon
You’re invited to a meaningful meal complemented by connection, story, and shared vision at the Historic Hacienda—future home of Abara House: A Center for Peace and Transformation.
Come experience a place where relationships are being cultivated across lines that often divide—and where a different story is being lived.
Without meaningful relationships with our neighbors—whether across the aisle or the border—fear thrives. Harmful narratives spread, and we lose sight of our shared humanity.
Located on an ancient crossroads along the US-Mexico border, we create physical and relational spaces at the border where people connect, listen, and learn. Through stories, gatherings, and meaningful action, we work to build peace.
This luncheon is an opportunity to:
- Experience the vision of Abara House firsthand
- Hear stories from the borderlands
- Learn how you can be part of this work
- Lunch Provided
